Great mini-review. I'm hoping to take my son to this tomorrow. He's on the fence about Star Wars but I think seeing this one in 3-D on the big screen might finally sway him. I had blocked Jar Jar out of my mind until reading this!

Wow! Another great one! I miss Kenneth too. Have so many great memories of him from as far back as I can remember. When Daddy died his hugs were even bigger every Sunday morning at church, I know he was trying to feel some of the void. Will never forget one of my last visits with him I took our supper from Cracker Barrel to eat at the famous kitchen table and he actually ate and enjoyed....But, nothing like I enjoyed his famous chicken livers he cooked and always remembered me when he did. So wish I had have learned how he cooked them. I have never eaten any that compared to his.
We are both so lucky that God blessed us with the families we have and for the kitchen table memories.

This is so amazing! I am so thankful you wrote this! Emily has been my friend since child hood! I have loved her, and will lover her throughout eternity! Whenever someone ask me, "Who was your best friend growing up as a kid?" I always have the same answer, "Emily Dunn" Never has it changed. She has always been such an inspiration to me! I now am married with 2 beautfiul little girls, and 2 gorgeous sons. My girls call Emily, Aunt Emily because she truly is my sister, and that is just how my girls see her! My boys never did get the pleasure of meeting Emily because they are my husbands kids and were not around when I was able to spend a lil time with Emily, but I do know they would have loved her just the same. I was unable to come to funeral, because I am down in Clermont Florida taking care of my mother who has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has mestastamized throughout her bones, liver, hip, and she has lesions on her spine. I hated not being able to be there, but I was able to go see her at the hospital! I cried! I will tell you, the night before Em died, it was around 11:30 pm, I was with my mom on her bed, and I looked at my momma, and I said "Momma, Emily is dead." She looked at me, and said "She is? How do you know?" I just simply said "I just know momma. She is gone. It is her time." At that moment, a part of me died, I felt something inside of me, just die. I went online to check out the status, n saw just how the doctors were saying how she had 3% chance. Well, the next morning, my sis calls, asking if I've been on facebook, and I was like "No, but I know, Emily has died, hasn't she?" She was like, "How do you know? Did Jenny call you?" I said "No, I felt it deep inside of me. I just knew!" It is amazing how God allows us to be so close to someone, that when something happens to them, we feel it as well. I know that she was taken off life support the next morning, but, I know the night before, God was preparing me, and Emily both! Thanks for sharing this Mitch, and allowing it to be, where people can read it! You are a great cousin!

This brought tears to my eyes, having gone through similar experiences with 2 grandfathers, 1 grandmother and my mother...all taken from me because of cancer. It sounds like you had closure with your Grandfather and that he was able to instill many positive values in your life. All we can ask is that we have made an impression on those we love and that impression moves them to celebrate your life and laugh and cry about you after you are gone. Thanks for sharing, be well.

Death is a very frightening prospect, I am glad to hear that your Granddad wasn't afraid of that and instead almost welcomed it with open arms. That shows me your granddad was a strong man till the end, which in my mind is something to be proud of. But sorry to hear about your loss Micheal, its never easy to say the final farewell. Keep him close in mind and heart so that even though he is no longer present physically, he is still living through the great memories you and your family shared with him. Goodluck

Great Review. I have been a Stryper fan since The Yellow & Black Attack. I have seen them many times in concert. I agree that they are the best metal band out there. The Covering shows that with the vocals and great guitar work. What I hear in my headphones is amazing. What I am surprise is again after all these years that after this great release I do not hear Stryper on the radio. Sad that they do not get the respect they deserve.

So sorry for Matt and his family's loss. I will send him a book I wrote called Everlasting Doors: When the Supernatural Penetrates American Politics. Www.everlasting doors.com. I am also asking a friend of mine who writes children's books to send one of hers. Above all I pray the Lord comforts their hearts. Thanks for setting this up and making people aware of the need. God bless!
